News & Events

Thank you to everyone that participated in our bylaw changes vote. We have accepted the changes to our bylaws that now permit executive board meeting minutes approval by email, Chapter Vice Presidents to represent their Chapter when their Chapter President is unable to attend our Executive Board meetings, and expand who is considered part of our Negotiating Team, adding Silent Representatives. Annual Meeting

All APA members are invited to attend our annual meeting, held this year on Friday November 18, 2022 @ Salem State University and remotely on Zoom.

Remember, the election will be held electronically Monday 20 December at 10:00 am through Tuesday 21 December at 2:00 pm. Dues-paying APA members are eligible to vote. The APA and MTA do not provide funding to candidates for campaigns, nor do they endorse candidates.

Our 2020-2023 APA Agreement has officially been ratified!

The final tally, with 60+% of eligible voters casting ballots:

In favor of Ratification: 789
Opposed to Ratification: 19

We had particularly high voter participation from Framingham State, Mass Art and Fitchburg State. And overall - this was a great turnout of voters! Thanks to all who worked to get this Ratification completed.
