- Fair labor Standard act in 2020 regarding exempt & non-exempt status
  - Fact Sheet #17J: First Responders and the Part 541 Exemptions Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
  - Lieutenants in civil service county not considered exempt employees for FLSA purposes says U.S. 5th Circuit
APA lieutenants are not eligible for overtime.
Asking the APA Union leadership to request to have APA lieutenants moved From Exempt to Non-Exempt status.

Wage equity study being done by the MTA, largely faculty focused but they have reached out to HELC regarding higher education staff.
Great press with the Cherish Act and the State Universities.
UMass Lowell Sick Leave Bank and the misuse of allowing use of it.
Membership Survey regarding upcoming collective bargaining update.
HELC – Specially UMass Amherst and MCCC regarding Salary Compression
