Dear Members,

I am pleasure to share that the legislature has finally passed the FY25 Supplemental Budget!

This victory would not have been possible without your advocacy—thank you for your calls and emails to your legislators! I also want to extend my appreciation to our MTA lobbyists and the Council of Presidents for their efforts in helping to move this forward.

Next Steps:

• The budget will now head to the Governor for her signature.
• Once signed, the State Comptroller will release the funds.
• The University will then process payroll adjustments.
• Increases will appear in our paychecks shortly thereafter.

I’ll provide further updates on the payment timelines as information becomes available.
